the Light of Dao
The Light of Dao is made of bamboo and LED lamps. Bamboo is hollow, so it can get more sunshine, water and air, all of these make it grow up very fast. Bamboo is straight, but also has a lot of flexibility. It is always green no matter in which season. It is my great Dao master.

Light in the Hand
2019
It's a hand holding light. Five fingers dance around the energy.
It is made of Java Black Bamboo, which gives a very special effect in the colors betweens inside and outside.
First I studied and felt the bamboo with my heart, followed its natural shape, and sketched my dream on it. Then I used Dremel and other similar tools to cut and sand it. Finally I painted it with stain to protect the surfaces.
After wild artistic works I connected the electricity with professional quality. I chose Epistar G4 LED lamps to give a best warm white light, and a V-TAC EU plug with IP44 rating for safety at home.
The Dao is the way of nature. You can see this harmonisch beauty in a excellent Chinese calligraphy work with it's strong lines and smooth flows, and that is also the quality I want to present in my work.

Campfire
2019
CAMP FIRE comes from a memory of a quiet night. We sat beside each other, warmed our body, and looked at the changing forms of passion.
It is made of Tali bamboo. This kind of bamboo has a special EYE effect. I followed the natural shape of the bamboo, used Dremel and other similar tools to cut and sand it, and let it grows up to what it should be.
The base of the fire is made of wood. I keeped the original colors of bamboo and wood, but painted them a little bit to create more rich details.

Black Spirit
2019
Black spirit is a wisp of smoke.
It is made of 5 LED lamps and Java black bamboo. First I studied and felt the bamboo with my heart, followed its natural shape, and sketched my dream on it. Then I used Dremel and other similar tools to cut and sand it. Finally I painted it with acrylic and varnished it.

Sunset on the Sea
2020It is the most beautiful, peaceful , and surreal moment, when the sun goes down to the sea, the light moves with the wave, and the fire rests in the water. First I sketched the movement of water on the bamboo sticks. Then I used Dremel and other similar tools to cut and sand it. Finally I painted it with white acrylic, and varnished it. 'Sunset on the Sea' is made of nine bamboo sticks. It looks amazing on a blue wall, but also shows a subtle change in the light on a white background.
